TLI Episode 056: October 23, 2015
Yep, I’m back. Also, I don’t know what was going on with my brain. It’s been 2 1/2 years since my last update and nearly 4 1/2 years since my last recording. Otherwise, all the rest of the info in the podcast is accurate.
It’s a short one, but I’ve got a ton to talk about and I’ve got plenty of time to get it all out of my head. Please let me know if you gave it a listen.

Dear Tony,
Enjoyed listening to your podcast! I will be praying for you to stay strong on your journey to a healthy life. I commend you for starting the weight loss again. I have been struggling with my weight for 20 years now. So when you talk I hear my own fears, struggles, and pain in trying to overcome and lose weight.
Being a nurse, if you need me to scare you into getting serious from time to time (if you feel you are getting weak) I will gladly do that. You MUST get to a healthy weight for your wife and especially for your kids. Holden will still need you to guide him when he is 25 years old and married. Your daughter needs you to walk her down the aisle and give her a pep talk when she’s in labor someday. You WILL miss all that if you don’t get serious now.
If you keep that in mind, I think you will reach your goal this time. “Success is based upon a spiritual quality, a power to inspire others.”–Vince Lombardi. Keep doing your podcast and giving the rest of us strugglers the courage to totally LOSE IT!
Sincerely,
David’s mom, Kim Bednar

Thank you. I’m sitting here tired and sore after my 4th workout. This message brought a smile to my face, along with a few tears. WE can do this. This is my journey, but I’m more than happy for any company I can get along the way.
Tony
